Make a batch of bbq chicken using your oven! This recipe gives you an authentic flavor even if you don't own a grill. Be sure to choose a low sugar bbq sauce to help keep the carb count lower.

The Main Ingredients

  • Chicken- use your favorite pieces or chicken halves/quarters. You may also use Cornish hen halves if desired.
  • Rotisserie Seasoning-
  • Low carb bbq sauce- choose your favorite.

How to make this recipe:

Step 1- Place chicken in foil lined pan and add seasonings.

Step 2- Bake chicken then drain pan.

Step 3- Brush with bbq sauce, then return to oven. Baste several times with bbq sauce while cooking.

Expert Tips:

  • Line pan with foil for easy clean up.
  • Dry chicken skin well to help form crispy crust. (May use skinless chicken if desired.)
  • Liberally sprinkle chicken with rotisserie seasoning prior to baking for delicious flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 Organic Chicken Halves or 4 thighs/legs
  • Rotisserie Chicken Seasoning
  • 4 oz . BBQ Sauce (preferably low sugar)
Prevent your screen from going dark

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Place chicken in a foil lined baking pan.
  • Sprinkle chicken with rotisserie chicken seasoning.
  • Roast chicken for 30 minutes.
  • Remove chicken from oven and drain pan if needed. Brush with BBQ sauce.
  • Return chicken to oven and roast for 30 minutes. Baste with bbq sauce after 15 minutes.
  • Remove chicken from oven and allow to set 5-10 minutes before serving.
