Turkey bacon is so easy to prepare using the air fryer. By the time you load it in the basket, it's only a few minutes til it's ready to eat! Turkey bacon is meatier than pork bacon so it makes a satisfying addition to any meal!

How to choose the best turkey bacon

  • Turkey Bacon- choose your favorite brand. Try to find a lower sodium product if you are watching your salt intake. Any type of bacon is usually high in sodium.

Step by step how to:

  1. Begin by placing liner in air fryer basket to catch excess grease. (optional)
  2. Place slices of turkey bacon in air fryer basket.
  3. Air fry at 350 degrees for 5 minutes.
  4. Flip bacon then cook 5 more minutes until fully cooked and crispy around edges.
  5. Drain turkey bacon on paper towels.

Here are a few tips to help you make the best turkey bacon!

  • Use a liner in your air fryer for easy clean up. Many air fryers have a non stick finish, so if you don't have liners it is fine.
  • Leave a space between slices as you lay them in the air fryer. Good air circulation is important for crispy bacon.
  • Be sure to flip the bacon as this will also help it become crispier.
  • Drain or blot with paper towels to remove any fat.

  • 4 slices Turkey Bacon

  • Place 4 strips of turkey bacon in basket without overlapping.
  • Air fry on 350° for 5 minutes. Flip bacon over and cook 5-8 more minutes or until bacon is crispy and dark brown. (Monitor often to avoid burnt bacon.)
  • Place cooked bacon slices on paper towel to drain.
