These 10 Low Carb Foods Will Make a Week of Meals

Here's a way you can dash into the grocery store and grab a few items that will help you with low carb meal planning all week long. Includes family favorite recipes that come together in no time.

10 Low Carb Foods to Add to Your Grocery List

These low carb foods are easy to find in your local market. If you prefer to make your own rotisserie chicken, I have linked to my recipe. ***Note you will need to have taco seasoning and chili seasoning on hand to prepare the recipes. If you are preparing meals for just a few, then purchase smaller amounts versus if you are feeding a crowd and may need to buy larger amounts.

  1.  Rotisserie Chicken
  2. Lean Ground Beef
  3. Eggs
  4. Grated Cheese (low fat if desired)
  5. Lower Carb Bread
  6. Lower Carb Pizza Sauce or Marinara
  7. Low Carb Tortillas
  8. Salad Dressing- (Southwestern type if desired)
  9. Fresh Spinach
  10. Tomatoes

Week of Low Carb Meals

You will be using the 10 foods listed above (along with taco seasoning and chili powder) to create the week of meals.

  • MONDAY- Chopped Rotisserie Chicken Salad:  Salad of spinach, tomatoes, grated cheese, hard boiled egg and rotisserie chicken. Serve with salad dressing of choice. Toast a slice of low carb bread and chop for croutons.
  • TUESDAY- Tacos:  Brown ground beef with taco seasoning and serve with warmed low carb tortillas, chopped spinach, diced tomatoes, grated cheese and Southwestern dressing.

  • WEDNESDAY-  Tortilla Pizzas:  Crisp up your low carb tortillas in the oven then top with lower carb pizza sauce, ground beef, cheese. Return to the oven to melt cheese.
  • THURSDAY- Omelets:  Omelets filled with veggies and cheese. Serve with a slice of low carb toast.

  • FRIDAY-  Chili:  Brown ground beef with chili seasoning and serve topped with grated cheese and a side salad. Slice a low carb tortilla and bake until crispy and serve the crispy chips on the side.

    I love the week of low-carb meals. I am trying to eat smaller evening meals and all these are just perfect. I would certainly love a months worth. Thank you
